Walking into the office of Mr. Andrew Steele was, in hindsight, the worst decision I have made as an adult. I reached out to Mr. Steele regarding a serious divorce matter. From my first visit, it was clear that Mr. Steele and Mrs. Crowe were not aligned in their approach. While I received advice from Mrs. Crowe, Mr. Steele disregarded it without any follow-up or acknowledgment, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. This disconnect should have served as an early warning to seek help elsewhere, but instead, they accepted my $6,500 retainer without hesitation.

Unexpectedly, my relationship with the office shifted; I found myself performing what seemed like endless “homework” tasks assigned by Mrs. Crowe. This shift in responsibility was another sign of the office’s ineffectiveness. Despite my efforts, three years later, I am still struggling with the aftermath of a divorce from a narcissist who severely impacted my financial stability. My credit was ruined with $50,000 in credit card debt and a mortgage teetering on the edge of foreclosure.

Months after the initial engagement, I called the office for assistance. Mr. Steele’s only suggestion was, “Would you consider bankruptcy?”—a response that felt more like a setup than genuine support. This lack of care and proactive legal advice has left me enduring the consequences to this day.

While I recognize that every legal case is unique, my experience with Mr. Steele’s office was marked by a profound lack of attention and guidance. I cannot emphasize this enough: walk away.

It is worth noting that Mr. Steele and Mrs. Crowe only recall my case by the nickname “The good guy.”

I have no idea why they wanted a rating for this place when I didn't go there. Now, I was next door at the State Farm Insurance Company. 🤷🏾‍♀️
