Coreena has helped me off and on for over 4 years. First she helped me with my divorce, which was not easy in itself. She is extremely patient, and that says a lot.

Coreena helped me during Covid and we didn't meet face to face for many years and never had an issue.

After the divorce was finalized, I started having issues with the Parenting Plan and my ex. We saw things differently and things continually kept occurring. I wanted to try to get it updated. We tried for years to mediate with my ex but it wouldn't work. I finally went with another attorney because I thought the new attorney would be a bit more aggressive with it and get the updates added to the parenting plan. The new attorney was horrible and grossly overpriced. It just added to my problems. That was a big mistake.

Luckily Coreena took me back (whew), an expensive lesson learned. I believe it took close to 2 years to get the updated plan in place. That was not due to the fault of Coreena, it just took that long due to the process and the other side not working the same way we did.

(TIP: If you need a parenting plan updated, do EVERYTHING POSSIBLE to work it out with your ex first. It will work much better that way!)

Coreena is a life saver. I have no idea how I lucked out to find her in the first place but she is the perfect, logical, intelligent counter to my knee jerk, quick conclusions.

She is not a "get in your face" "we're gonna get them" attorney. She is a intelligent, methodical, always exacting in documentation attorney who will tell you the facts (If you like them or not) and not lie to you just to get more money.

If I had listened to her all along, my process with all of this would have been quite different and less stressful.

I'd HIGHLY recommend Coreena for a divorce/family legal aid. ESPECIALLY if both sides are (mostly) in agreement.

TIPS: With all attorneys, do not think you are the only client. Do not think you should be able to phone them at any time, (Coreena is excellent with replying via email), do not think they will do exactly what you want (as what you want may be wrong!).

Personable, brilliant, kind, and hardworking. She did an amazing job with my case and I'm thankful I hired her. I liked that she didn't try to talk me out of anything during our case (other lawyers I talked to had done that). She was supportive and diligent the entire time and I'm very happy with her performance.
