Mandee and her team were recommended to me by my son's therapist. She and her team worked hard to look out for my son's and my best interests. They were professional and got me the results I wanted.

I engaged with the firm in June 2026 for a relocation and parenting plan modification trial. Overall, I spent a lot of money and didn't get a lot in return. I found myself in court rooms correcting my counsel when she was addressing the judge. I asked for help multiple times transferring my child support case to Kansas from a different state, and found out it was not fully completed. I eventually terminated services after losing confidence in their abilities, especially in light of the amount of funds I have spent with them over the years. Despite all the trial prep we did in advance, when my trial day arrived, the firm had failed in the uploading of documents or exhibits to the required online platform required by Johnson County courts. To paraphrase my judge on the day of the trial when it was discovered they had failed to upload all of our exhibits, "your attorney apparently didn't do you any favors". I then spent a few weeks after trial finishing the work of transferring my child support case after some helpful conversations with the court's trustee. Finally - take away what you will from this - but after paying this firm countless thousands of dollars, I saw that the firm was suspended from practicing law in Kansas and then put on a probationary status due to disciplinary action stemming from a complaint, some of which had to do with excessive billing. I also have talked with some friends in family law in the KC area, and they say that the firm is known as "nice", but that the reputation in Johnson County courts is not great.

Overall, my engagement with Pingel law started in June 2025, and ended in January 2026. During that time, I paid almost $30k in fees to the firm to prepare for a relocation trial, as well as a child support transfer case. And in the end, I ended up doing the final work in the courtroom myself.

I was in a high conflict divorce with a narcissist who engaged in mental, emotional and physical abuse. I hired Pingle Family law firm based on their supposed ability to have strong experience with challenges. I could go on forever about their errors, lack of experience, poor ethics and misrepresentation. Suffice it to say I wasted 15k before I hired a different attorney. A few stand outs: (1) HIPAA violations including other client files open and in my view during my in-person meetings, (2) my attorney at the time pushing me to pull my restraining order during mediation in an effort to avoid trial (she literally said “this will affect him his entire life”), lies stating that since I hired them for my divorce they were required to represent me during my restraining order case, (3) violations of client-attorney privilege (their secretary told me “I heard that…..” and went on to tell me what occurred during my mediation meeting). (4) dual relationships with my then spouse’s attorney. I could easily list 6 more events that led to my eventual withdrawal. Save your money and go elsewhere.
