I walked into the Region lawyer's office about two years ago after being charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors and met with attorney Brown. I had meetings with other attorneys and after meeting Mr Brown and discussing the matter he said "I'm willing to take this to trial" and I didn't quite understand then the importance of that statement, but I do now. Mr Brown is known to be willing to fight for his clients in court where other attorneys will take the path of least resistance. Mr. Brown believed in me and truly cared about the outcome of my case. Mr Brown did in fact push for a trial after Lake County was stalling and the county even "lost my file". I have to say that I was nervous about trial even though Mr. Brown assured me everything would be ok and he was right. The state and county caved before trial and I recieved an outcome that was even better than I could have anticipated, almost to good to be true. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Mr. Brown again and you should not either. I trusted him with my life and he got it back for me. Thank you Mr Brown and Staff for taking good care of me!
