I had a Felony case with multiple charges + an additional BS case with Misdemeanors. The misdemeanor case was an easy case to beat. Roy Dominguez did nothing but show up to court with a smile. I provided evidence & even the testimony of the person who lied in My felony case and apparently that wasn’t good enough. We came up with a game plan of options which he did not like. Very Big Headed, “Don’t tell me how to do my Job, I don’t tell you how to do Yours”. “ It will never get dismissed”. “ Why don’t you be your own lawyer then”. SMH. Once I paid him off he was very convincing that we were on the same page. I was even willing to pay 700$ extra for him to sit with the prosecutor & person who lied, specifically for a deposition. Next court date, I had an offer from the State That I was not willing to accept because I was 100 percent sure I can beat the case. He had a letter prepared to resign for differences. He was disrespectful and told me to shut up in our last in office meeting, I had to put him in his place speaking with respect. I always kept it professional. He also said it’s not his job to believe me. He is very forgetful & has memory issues that I believe make him unfit to still practice law. A lawyer’s Job is to “Help” you make a game plan & execute that plan. It’s difficult to defend yourself against the system. It’s even more difficult when you have to defend yourself against the system and your lawyer. I went with a new Lawyer & Beat both cases! Dismissal, Dismissal.
