Zendegui Law Group, P.A.

I’m very disturbed and I caution others to think very carefully before doing business with this Law group.. I placed a $15,000 escrow deposit on a transaction and was ready to close in cash. I was purchasing a property through an assignment of contract that this firm had a relationship with so I was required to use them. While I was actively requesting a settlement statement, the underlying contract had already been canceled — something that they were aware of the night before, but didn’t notify me as the ultimate buyer of the property, not even when I was requesting a settlement statement to close. I was requesting phone calls during the day, but they refuse to contact me on the phone or return my calls. Their client, Kevin VEIGA of KREI Capital, agreed in their assignment contract with me to close on August 2 but their contract with the owner Was scheduled to close on the March 26th, 6 days before mine was promised and contracted for. I asked if an extension had been granted on Kevin’s 26th closing date prior to me wiring the $15,000 and I Was assured that it had been. What I learned is that their client, Kevin VEIGA of KREI Capital who was the original contract holder attempted to get the owner to grant him an extension on March 25 as well as a price reduction from the seller, even though he was already profiting in the assignment he had given to me. When he didn’t get the extension he decided to protect his escrow deposit by sending the seller a cancellation email that Gus and his staff as this firm were copied on
(I was not), and in the process he screwed over, the seller, me, his assignee that he contracted to assign his sales contract to, and his venture partner who stood to make a fee. Now, when I’m requesting and demanding the return of my escrow deposit, this Law Firm will not return my calls will not admit to receiving the cancellation the day before or return my Escrow deposit as required by Their legal and fiduciary responsibilities.
Communication has been completely cut off from them and they’re not responding to my phone calls or emails. My only resort is to file complaints against them with the Florida Bar Association, FTC, DBPR, and The State Attorney’s office.

The handling of this transaction, particularly around disclosure and escrow, raises serious concerns. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution. Stay away! You’ll be glad you did
