"I would like to take a moment to commend Deputy District Attorney K.J. (initials used for privacy) for stepping into a long-standing, unresolved matter. After the case had spent a significant amount of time going in circles in other jurisdictions, K.J. stepped in and finally took charge. She handled the matter with the utmost professionalism, care, and expertise—going far beyond what words like ‘job well done’ could ever truly capture. Her dedication and skill are a tremendous asset to the community. I also want to share my gratitude for Investigator B.L., as well as the judges and officers involved. I am truly proud of the Yuba County justice system for finally providing the resolution and safety I needed."

My first time in a courthouse was as a witness. The District Attorney was very supportive and helpful. The defense was confusing but I got through it. All-in-all an experience I hope I never have to go through again, but it wasn't the end of the world.
