This attorney was court-appointed during a highly sensitive matter, despite the fact that I had already maintained custody of my children for over six years. Given the circumstances, I expected a higher level of professionalism, communication, and accountability—especially from someone placed in a position of trust by the court.
Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Communication was inconsistent at best. Multiple follow-ups regarding reimbursement of my portion of the fees went unanswered, and an offer to provide probate attorney referrals—something that was important for moving forward—was never fulfilled.
After making repeated good-faith efforts to resolve the matter directly, I was ultimately forced to initiate a credit card dispute due to the lack of response or resolution. This is not something I take lightly, but it became necessary given the circumstances.
In situations involving families, legal transitions, and loss, responsiveness and follow-through are not optional—they are essential. Based on my experience, those expectations were not met here.

I would strongly encourage others to ensure they are working with someone who is communicative, reliable, and willing to follow through on their commitments, especially when navigating critical legal matters

Very disappointed, does not fight for you. Has little communication with clients. Picks clients from the streets. When she feels as she has lost, she abandons the case with a poor excuse. Do not recommend.

Mrs. Garcia was awesome! She went above and beyond for my kids and she genuinely cared. I don’t know if my kids would have got the justice they deserve without her. Thank you so much
