One of the worst attorney interactions I’ve ever had. The woman who called me back wasn’t just rude, she shut down every point I raised with answers that were flat-out wrong under Florida law. It felt like she hadn’t actually read a trust statute in years. Instead of offering real legal insight, she tossed out snap judgments, acted annoyed that I knew what I was talking about, and then casually dropped their twenty-thousand-dollar retainer like that excused her not wanting to do the work.

If you’re dealing with anything more complicated than a simple will signing, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

I’ve spoken with more than twenty attorneys in the last few days, and this firm stands out as the single most unprofessional experience by a mile. I left a clear voicemail and received a return call from a woman who seemed to be an attorney. The call was nothing short of dealing with the rudest, most dismissive person I’ve spoken to in over a decade.

She didn’t offer legal analysis. She offered excuses.
Every nuanced issue I raised was met with lazy bumper sticker answers that weren’t backed by any statute, case law, trust language, or even basic familiarity with the Florida Trust Code. It became obvious very quickly that she didn’t actually understand the laws she claimed to practice. Instead of engaging with documented evidence, timelines, and trust violations, she brushed off everything with generic, incorrect statements and a condescending tone.

Her dismissiveness felt less like legal advice and more like cowardice dressed up as “professional opinion.” At no point did she attempt to analyze the facts. She defaulted to incorrect blanket statements and acted put out that I understood the law well enough not to be brushed aside by her shortcuts.

It became clear she was an estate planner moonlighting as a trust litigator who didn’t want a case that required real work. Anything that involved reviewing evidence, documents, or statutory duties was immediately met with resistance, as if doing the actual job of a trust litigator was too much effort. The only consistent theme in her responses was a push toward their $20,000.00 retainer while simultaneously making it clear she had no interest in actually taking the case or offering competent guidance.

If you need an attorney who is willing to review facts, apply actual law, and communicate professionally, look anywhere else. This firm was the worst legal interaction I have had in years.
