I would not recommend Winkler Legal. My mother in law passed, without a will or any thing, while my husband was dealing with his own medical issues. When we contact Dirk Winkler my husband done the free consultation, & they emailed us paperwork to fill out. We did not here from them for MONTHS almost a year! Us never dealing with anything like this before thought it was normal waiting for MIL credit & stuff to go through. When my husband called the paralegal Rachel setup an phone appt again with Dirk. During this appointment we went over everything again, & he said it should take long once we get the information. We REFILLED out the paperwork & paid them but yet it still to at least 6months to finalize. Now I get the courts being slow and stuff they could not help that. However, Rachel would send me an email asking me a question then it would be a week or two before I heard anything again. Multiple times we had to go get new bank statements because it was new month. At one point she told me "thanks for the information I will get on the paperwork next week." 2 weeks went by & I called and she said "its on my to do list". I sent emails checking in & received no response. Six weeks after send information she requested & not getting anything I emailed Mr Winkler himself & he never responded. About THREE weeks after that email I began receiving emails about documents to sign etc. Once everything was completed & they mailed us the court documents, there was a letter included thanking us for choosing them. After reading this letter my husband & I both felt like they were saying here is what you need dont contact further. The letter seemed "professionally rude."
