DO NOT USE THIS FIRM: Hidden Fees, Arrogance, and Blatant Overcharging This was our second time using this firm to close a house in Jacksonville. The first time was mediocre at best, but this recent experience was an absolute disaster. If you value transparency and professionalism, stay far away. We were going on vacation and had a contract on our house, meaning we needed to handle the paperwork ahead of time. The plan was simple: we would review and approve the settlement sheet while away, and our real estate agent would sign for us on closing day via a Power of Attorney (POA). The nightmare started once we received the settlement sheet on vacation: Deceptive, Unannounced Fees: They slapped us with a $175 charge just for drafting the POA. They had us sign this document before we left for vacation and never said a single word about a fee. My wife is an attorney—she could have drafted this in five minutes for free had they been honest about the cost. Slipping a fee in after the fact is completely unacceptable. Blatant Disregard for Contract Terms: Our contract explicitly stated we were only responsible for a transfer fee to let the buyer keep the existing termite service. Instead, the attorney took it upon herself to charge us for a full year of termite service PLUS the transfer fee. Staggering Arrogance: When my wife called to confront her about this massive error, the attorney’s defensive excuse was, "I've been doing this for years." She literally tried to rewrite our legally binding contract based on how she thought it should be done, completely ignoring the actual agreement. While we ultimately forced them to issue a refund for the termite overcharge, the sheer lack of communication, unauthorized charges, and condescending attitude were infuriating. FINAL WARNING: Review every single line item if you are foolish enough to use this firm. They will absolutely try to hit you with hidden, unnecessary charges and expect you not to notice.

Hello, I used this firm to handle my estate closing issues. Please do not choose this firm. Someone referred them to me. I sold my home, and waiting on my disbursement check. The lawyer said it would be ready today. But this is another lie that he has told me. I called the office, everytime I call, they said he not in the office. I guess everything else is more important than they customers.

Presumptuous, rude, unprofessional and withheld deceased veteran’s estate escrow funds longer than required according to Alabama code. No star to be exact!
