ABSOLUTE SCAM!!! DO NOT HIRE.... CALLED HIM FOR A CONSULTATION PRECEDED TO TELL HIM THE COURTS OFFERED ME A PRE TRIAL DIVERSION PROGRAM AND ASKED HIS THOUGHTS ON MY CASE I TOLD HIM I HAD TALKED TO A COUPLE LAWYERS ALREADY AND THEY TOLD ME TO SAVE ME MONEY THEY SUGGEST I TAKE THE PROGRAM HE THEN ASKED ME HOW MANY OTHER LAWYERS I'VE CALLED AND HOW MANY MORE I'M GOING TO CALL TO GET ANSWERS TOLD HIM HE WAS LAST ONE I WAS WAITING ON TO CALL ME BACK THEN STARTS ACTING LIKE HE CAN'T GIVE ME ANY ANSWERS ON MY CASE.... ABSOLUTE WASTE OF TIME AND NOW I SEE WHY HE ONLY HAS 3 STARS RATING!!!! JUST BE AWARE IF YOU DECIDE TO HIRE HIM HE'S ONLY OUT FOR THE MONEY

I hired this guy because there was a warrant issued for my arrest 2 years after my accident and his was one of the first letters in my mailbox to alert me of it. It was for OUI and PI and there was no investigation done. I was in complete shock and felt like I needed a lawyer right away and didn’t do my due diligence.

He told me it would cost $1200 and I could make payments. What he failed to mention was that was the price if it didn’t go to trial. I gave him $300 and he told me to surrender asap, which I did. My first court date was 3 days later and he told me to just go up to court and they would give me another court date. He wasn’t going to be able to make it on such short notice. I had to ask what to plead and if my license would be suspended right then. I’ve never been through this! He was very nonchalant about it and said to plead not guilty and that my license would absolutely be suspended at that time. I should get a driver to take me. Then said that he would try to get my bail money released to help pay him. That’s all he was worried about. DO NOT PICK THIS GUY FOR YOUR LAWYER IF YOU NEED SOMEONE TO FIGHT FOR YOU!

I’ve hired a REAL firm and they got the arraignment cancelled and are staying on top of everything and keep me informed the entire way. After I told his receptionist that I was going in a different direction and not using him any longer, he started blowing up my phone and finally sent me a text saying that he could get the hearing canceled for the next day. I informed him that it already was and I’d call him a little later.

The new firm has intake forms and forms to get my license back before it’s even suspended. He went over a lot of issues with the states case on our first call. He’s more expensive. But I’ve got half a dozen of them working for me now. And I’m sure I’d have paid way more in fees, and probation when Schabler lost. And I got a receipt right away!

I think he’s just sliding into retirement and grabbing as much money as possible before then. I’m disputing his charges that he’s refusing to pay back because he’s not done anything to earn it!

I’d give him negative stars if I could.
