I had a very disappointing experience with attorney Jon Goldfarb. He carried my case all the way up until I received my 90-day notice to file suit against my previous employer. Then, with very little warning, he dropped my case. At that point I only had about 60 days remaining to find another attorney and prepare to move forward, which left me scrambling under an already stressful deadline.

What made the situation even more frustrating is that the same thing happened to my husband with this attorney. In both situations, we felt the cases were carried along only to be dropped at a critical stage. When I attempted to discuss working through the issue or continuing representation, he refused to work with me.

Being dropped by counsel that late in a case is extremely difficult for a client who has been relying on legal guidance throughout the process. This experience felt unprofessional and inconsiderate given the time-sensitive nature of employment litigation deadlines. Clients deserve clear communication and consistency when their legal rights and timelines are on the line.
