I was court appointed Vicky Francois as a criminal defense attorney. I was clearly being legally abused by my husband, and just all around abused in general. She kept telling me she was going to request a bond (she never did). My husband (still to date my husband) is a prosecutor in Pulaski. She never requested a venue or circuit change, etc.

When I got out of jail, and actually needed a divorce/ help with custody she told me she was too busy. I was willing to actually pay her, I wasn’t expecting pro bono, etc. Also just wanted to see if she’d actually hear my case as I was told my husband’s boss played a role in her being my criminal defense attorney. Weird to me that she was willing to take a criminal case in Pulaski when that’s not her expertise to begin with. Weirder she wasn’t willing to take the case once it became a family law issue, clearly her expertise if her website reads correctly.

Not going to speak anything too heavy as the criminal conviction may have always been the outcome I received. She certainly didn’t push back at all or fight it in any capacity.

What I will say, for a family law attorney if you’re someone that is actually experiencing real abuse— this is not the attorney for you. It felt like she took my case to gain contacts. She spoke to my husband about my case multiple times (when he blatantly had wrongful charges against me). My mental health deteriorated upon entering a jail. She told it was the worst she’s ever seen from someone. 1. I require real life mental health maintenance, not jail. 2. I was separated from my son and never had been 3. I had what felt like the weight of the world on my shoulders and the ability to do little to nothing about it.

She took maybe 5 calls from me in a 6 month time frame. I’m willing to bet she exchanged that many calls back and forth to my husband in just 2 weeks.

Vicki is the absolute best. She was my lifeline throughout a very traumatic time in my life. Her expertise and dedication are unmatched and her commitment and compassion for her clients is beyond measure. She never gives up and she won’t let her clients either. I will be forever grateful . She is a consummate professional and a beautiful person inside and out.

Vicki is hands down one of the best attorneys I have met. I knew from the first day I met her she was dedicated and determined. She got on her computer and went right to work. It’s been a long battle trying to keep my family safe and having the feeling like no one cares. It’s so nice to finally feel heard and to know that Vicki will fight hard for my family, it has given me a sense of relief and peace of mind. I’m so thankful I hired her, and I have no doubt she will continue to go to battle for my family, because she truly does care. I’d recommend her to anyone who is in need of a top-notch attorney and needs someone who definitely has your best interest at heart. She is definitely one of the best and you won’t regret hiring her.
