This was by far the most horrible and intimidating experience I have ever had with a law firm. From the very beginning of the call, the woman I spoke with at Walter Law Firm was extremely short, rude, and dismissive. I could not even finish a single sentence without being interrupted and talked over repeatedly. Given the nature of my case, the way I was treated caused me to have a panic attack during the call. There was absolutely no compassion, patience, or willingness to even listen to what I had to say. Instead of feeling heard or supported, I felt ambushed, dismissed, and completely unheard. At one point I was essentially told she was “not convinced” to take my case before I was even able to fully explain the situation. No one seeking legal help should ever be treated this way, especially when they are already dealing with stressful or traumatic circumstances. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a law firm, and I will never contact this office again. If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. *UPDATE* I find it interesting that your response attempts to minimize what occurred on that call rather than acknowledge the unprofessional behavior and complete lack of compassion shown from the beginning of the conversation. Whether someone is a paying client or a potential client does not excuse being interrupted repeatedly, spoken to harshly, or treated dismissively while clearly in distress. Respect and professionalism are not conditional on payment. I was appreciative of any information provided, and I made that clear at the end of the call despite how uncomfortable the interaction became. I also acknowledged that perhaps it was a bad day and wished you well. That does not change the fact that the delivery and conduct were inappropriate. Fortunately, the call was recorded, so the full context and tone of the conversation speak for themselves. A grievance has already been filed with the Texas State Bar, and I will allow that process to proceed accordingly. Compassion is free. Professionalism is free. Potential clients deserve both.

Absolutely trash! Terrible customer service, quick to dismiss, communication skills are horrible! I DON’T RECOMMEND! She is absolutely horrible. You can have all the evidence and she’ll still say you have no legal claim before you even say what you have! Again this is a trash law firm, don’t waste your time !

She is extremely quick to dismiss your concerns and contradict you without explanation. An immediate "no" with no reasoning provided, even when respectfully challenged. I have over five valid claims to file suit on, and rather than engaging with any of them, each was summarily discounted. The response was essentially: "Yes, that's the law, that they broke, but a judge would view it as..." implying the case would be difficult to win, which seemed to serve as justification for being dismissive and unhelpful to a veteran. The call then ended abruptly, with her hanging up under the pretense that I was "not listening."

They do not like to answer a lot of questions and will get angry and short with you if you try to contact them too much ( via phone or email). Overcharged for services that other law firms provide for much lower cost.
EDIT: ( Response to the owner) :Thank you for the response. I understand that attorneys charge hourly and that communication takes time, but my concern is not about being billed — it's about how the matter was handled overall. I felt the communication was unclear and repetitive, which contributed to confusion rather than resolving it. At no point was I made fully aware of how quickly costs were adding up or given guidance on how to manage them.
I shared my experience to inform others — not because I expected free services, but because I believe the service I received did not match the value I was charged for. I hope this feedback is taken constructivel

I called to inquire about a civil matter and the representative who answered the phone was extremely rude in answering my questions. I wouldn't even recommend this law firm.
