Mr. Vitale handle my divorce and got me full custody of my 12 year old daughter. He’s not afraid to fight for his client. I highly recommend him, as he did an awesome job.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this attorney. I hired him to handle a real estate matter and worked with him for several months. In the middle of the process, after I raised concerns and disagreed with his interpretation of certain documents and the legal arguments surrounding my case, he ultimately withdrew from representing me. I was told that he was cutting back on civil cases and that this was the reason he could no longer continue with my matter. However, based on the timing and circumstances, I personally do not believe that was the full story. From my perspective, it appeared that once I challenged his interpretation of my documents and disagreed with his approach to my case, the attorney no longer wanted to represent me. Regardless of the reason, the result was the same: I was left without an attorney in the middle of my case after investing months of time and money. What makes the situation even more frustrating is the billing. I was charged for work that was never completed. A petition was drafted, but it was never filed with the court. No case was opened and no case number was ever assigned. Yet I was still charged for preparing that petition. I completely understand that attorneys charge for their time and expertise. What I do not understand is being charged for a legal process that was never completed and then being left to find another attorney after months of working with the first one. A client should be able to ask questions, disagree with an attorney's interpretation, and advocate for their own interests without feeling that the attorney will simply walk away from the case. This was a very disappointing and stressful experience. I am sharing it because I believe potential clients deserve to know what my experience was before making their own decision. My advice to anyone hiring an attorney: make sure you understand exactly what you are being billed for, what happens if the attorney withdraws, and what happens to work that has been started but never completed or filed.
