Several times during this past year, I received newsletters from Vinson Law about asbestos exposure. After receiving the first couple of newsletters, I simply threw them away. Then I received another newsletter and finally decided to respond. Vinson Law felt that, since I had served in the engineering department on a Navy ship known for asbestos exposure, I should consider being tested for asbestos-related lung damage. I went to my primary care physician for the test and forwarded the results to Vinson Law. Vinson Law said that I qualified for a settlement. They requested that I come to Tampa for additional testing and to sign some documents. While I was in their office, one of their staff members suggested that I forward a copy of the test results to the VA and request disability benefits. I did so, and the VA also requested that I take additional tests at their offices. This was done at the end of June. The next day, I received an email from the VA stating that I qualified for full VA disability and that it was retroactive to my application date of April 1st. At that time, I was having financial difficulties. The result of Vinson Law’s newsletter has changed the rest of my life. The asbestos settlement will pay off my debts, and my full VA disability will cover all of my monthly expenses. Again, Vinson Law has changed my life forever. I include them in my prayers every day. I'm writing on behalf of my elderly father who is suffering with a deteriorating condition of asbestosis. He was contacted by Vinson law over a year ago and I've facilitated the process for him. Initially, everyone couldn't be nicer - we scheduled calls to set up the claim process, providing all medical documentation and current imaging they required.

Now we're at the claim stage and I'm stunned to see the initial claims coming through with what appears to a great deal more going to Vinson than what we were led to expect (seeing now 50% or more!!). On top of that, I've made clear that all correspondence needs to go through his mailing address, since dad is 92 and splits his time between 2 states - I have power of attorney and manage all his administrative matters. For whatever reason, for 3+ weeks now, I have not had the courtesy of a return phone call or email, to confirm that all future claims need to be sent to his mailing address.

We've essentially been ghosted by Vinson Law and this is feeling very much like a bait and switch scam that is taking advantage of sick elderly people who've proudly served their nation and ended up with life debilitating illness as a result . . . only to enrich a law firm.

Very disappointed.

Would not recommend, my husband has asbestosis, and yet they said they couldn't help him, very disappointed, so I advocated for him myself, I helped him get 60 percent, now we are going for 100 percent, guess we didn't need you..... update as of December 2022,
After reading this review, my husband was contacted, by the law firm, and was asked if I would delete this review, if they helped him with his claim, we got all the necessary doctors papers, showing my husband's lung condition had worsened, and submitted everything in September, Today, yet again we received all his paperwork back, and a letter stating the firm could not help him, even though all his paperwork clearly states he has asbestosis, and it is military related. If I could rate the firm a ZERO, I would, let down again... I would never recommend your firm to anyone. You build people's hopes up, And dash them on the rocks....update even though I have given them two bad reviews, the firm still sends out stuff to us, I have no idea what's inside, as I promptly put return to sender on the envelope. We have no interest in your firm. As of August of this year 2024 my husband gets 100 percent, I helped him, I guess I should have gone to law school, I did better then your firm, 2025 my husband passed away

I've dealt with Vinson Law firm for over a year now, and I couldn't be more satisfied with Mr. Vinson and his awesome staff. I would recommend this firm wholeheartedly!
