I live in Washington State, and Celia's office (and Dessarae, her legal assistant) have been amazing partners in helping us navigate the bureaucracy and red tape in completing our adoption. I was given a list of attorneys from DFPS, and picked one at random - I'm so happy I picked Celia's office.

We have been struggling with Texas Vital Records to get our son's birth certificate amended, and started running into a deadline of needing proof of citizenship so that we could travel with him internationally. When Texas Vital Records dropped the ball again, Dessarae was INSTRUMENTAL in trying to help us get the problems resolved, eventually sending a runner to get a certified copy of his original birth certificate and our adoption decree so that we could travel (and saved us from losing $4000 on our vacation!).
