After more than two years working with Urban, Thier & Federer on our auto accident case, I can recommend them without hesitation. John Urban, Matt Leibert, and their team were always knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. There were no broken bones or surgeries, and many of our injuries were the type that are much harder to prove and quantify. If I could give zero stars, I would. I spent $6,000 hiring this law firm, and the experience was utterly devastating. The amount of negligence, lack of communication, failure of services, and enabling of domestic volatility is disturbing, insurmountable, and disgusting. Please save your family and yourself from this firm—they destroyed our family and were completely terrible.

I had a consultation with this law firm regarding a very complex case, and although they ultimately were not able to take my case, I cannot speak highly enough of my experience with them. I engaged the firm in November 2025 to assist with a European estate matter. After five months, the firm had accrued fees of $2,725 consisting of, quoting Christian Thier, "phone calls on your behalf, exchanged emails with you and created internal administrative notes." Absolutely no progress or resolution was made. Mr. Thier told me my emails to him asking for updates were routed to his spam folder.
I terminated the engagement and was very disappointed in the lack of service from this firm.
