Tyrone Zdravko

I was referred to Ty Zdravko from my other counsel as I was preparing to file a lawsuit to regain funds stolen from me by my ex wife, while we were married. My first meeting with Mr. Zdravko was at my deposition. He did not meet with me first to discuss a plan nor did he discuss requirements for the case to be successful. In fact, he left the deposition early. For me to prevail, we needed to show that I “relied” on the information in my ex-wife’s divorce affidavit. I did not know this. Mr. Zdravko, being my counsel, never advised me on this prior to my deposition. I had been advised by my ex’s former business partner that my ex had placed spy devices on my computer and was intercepting my emails, back when we were together. Had Mr.Zdravko advised me correctly, I would have provided answers confirming that I relied on her information. I have been advised by other attorneys that this should not have happened. I spent over $150k in legal fees fighting this case and while I found over $500k that had been stolen from me by my ex wife, I did not prevail in my suit because the judge said I did not state that I relied on her information. Total b.s. By going through with my divorce, I was obviously relying on her affidavit information as being factual. Had Mr. Zdravko understood this requirement, and had he briefed me on this prior to my depo, I would have likely won the case, as this was a technicality and the facts of the case clearly showed how my ex spent over 10yrs hiding money from me while we were married. While Mr. Zdravko is a really nice guy, and likely a good attorney, it is my belief that his conduct caused me to lose my case (I eventually settled) and also caused me to spend a tremendous extra amount of legal fees that should not have been necessary.
