Trudy was assigned as a public defender for my brothers case. From the start he had nothing but issues with her. She doesn’t respond to letters, doesn’t answer emails, and doesn’t answer her phone. Every court hearing she showed up and told him what he wanted to hear with no intentions of following through. She never showed my brother any of the evidence against him. She never once defended my brother. My brother got a plea deal only because he asked to speak to the prosecutor. All Trudy could tell him was she didn’t appreciate him talking to the prosecutor and letting her know that Trudy wasn’t doing her job because it made her look bad. If your loved one gets Trudy I’d find another lawyer. If I could give 0 stars I would.
