"I sold a family heirloom to pay the $550 fee for a 'Legal Representation Project,' which promised a document review and a 30–45 minute consultation. Notably, Mr. Schaefer personally solicited this service twice via email, citing 20 years of experience in this exact area of law, after already reviewing my intake form describing the case and the defendant. He understood the case well enough to solicit payment — twice. After payment, the firm reviewed my private documents without my presence and used that review to unilaterally cancel the meeting, despite a 'no refund' policy. Every concern cited in the cancellation was an open question the consultation was designed to resolve — the same case complexity he already knew about before soliciting my $550. They solicited and accepted payment for a service they chose not to perform after reviewing my evidence outside its intended use. They then declared the 'non-refundable' fee refundable simply to facilitate their own exit."
And come to find out the fraudulent misrepresentation is a known problem to the FTC and SEC it's even got a label it's called AI washing so while the terms of service were presented to me like a problem whenever a company is presented with fraud the terms of service no longer apply thank you for looking at my documents without authorization to give me an excuse to back out of a consultation that we could have worked through in the consultation If I could give less than one star I would
