So far I have only had an hour long consultation with Topinka and am still contemplating whether I want to pursue legally changing my situation at all. If I do, I'll hire Topinka, because Barbara made a great impression on me in that time. She was incredibly warm, calm, patient, honest and compassionate. Being able to have a genuinely respectful and caring working relationship with an attorney is extremely important to me. In my experience, working together rationally, with care, and as a team, is more effective than simply being nasty and ruthless. I felt I'd get exactly that with Topinka.

My two children were assigned her as the guardian ad litem in a high conflict divorce at in 2018 in 5th and 8th grade. They both went on to drop out of high school despite endless meetings with local school officials and doctors which accomplished nothing. Draw your own conclusions.
