Our son, 17 years old but considered an adult in the Texas legal system, was charged with a felony aggravated assault on a family member along with, terroristic threat of a family member, criminal mischief and evading arrest. Two of the misdemeanors were from a previous arrest and were on a diversion program from the court, but due to aggravated assault and terroristic threat charges, the diversion was terminated and the charges were added to the new charges. The felony charge alone carried the possibility of up to 20 years in prison, three misdemeanors and a failed diversion program, we looked for the best lawyers to represent our son.

Todd developed a successful strategy for working with the prosecutors and ultimately secured a diversion plan for all four charges. The judge said, ‘this is an agreement defendants dream of getting.’ After a year, we are thankful that all charges were dismissed. Our son is thriving in college and grateful for the second chance that Todd secured for him.
