The office staff members were very nice, but I scheduled a phone consultation, didn't get a call at my appointment time as I was told I would, called the office and rescheduled, and then still didn't get a call. Not sure what's going on, will update if I ever find out.

I wouldn't recommend this lawyer to my worst enemy and I really don't understand how she received the few great remarks that she did from others. From my experience, she neglected my custody case, did not listen to me, did not listen to my daughter, nor paid attention to detail whatsoever. Several details that I told her, she forgot and did not mention when it mattered, I had to CONTINUOUSLY remind her of important details that would have tremendously helped my case. She seemed more on the plaintiffs side rather than mine and I'm not sure why her fee was $3500 because her service, or lack there of, definitely wasn't worth it. She was also very hard to contact, didn't try to contact me back until the DAY OF court while I was sitting in the waiting room, she came out of the courtroom after the judge had rendered an order saying that SHE DID NOT SEE ME!!!!!!!! I did not get a chance to speak to the judge and I was THERE!!!!!!!!! Overall, I FIRED her. With the amount of money that she charged and with the little to no work that she did, she should have had enough integrity to give me back my full retainer fee but of course, I didn't even get back half for such a sorry lawyer. With my experience, he completely lacked so many skills to be a lawyer that I'd be typing all day. I believe that she's running for Jefferson County District Judge smh. Want to be a judge but didn't show care for me, nor my minor child to at least proficiently do her job, as she was paid to do. She threw us to the side to handle her, "campaign." With my experience with her, I strongly doubt she will be a good judge. So, I'll just leave it here and say again, I wouldn't recommend her to my worst enemy. I would have done much better filing my own paperwork and representing myself. She was definitely a waste of time. Her performance was absolutely pathetic and I believe she's out of her lead being a "lawyer." Performance beyond pathetic. If there was a place for zero Stars, that's exactly what I would have given her.

I would say this attorney is very unprofessional. To schedule a consultation then not show for the consultation is very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

I reached out to Ms. Jones and was able to get a same day consultation. Although she couldn't help me because we stay in Tuscaloosa, she was very courteous and helpful. I will definitely refer her based on that information alone.
