PLEASE CONSIDER OTHER ATTORNEYS BEFORE HIRING.
I hired attorney Robert Birchfield (AKA 'Bob' at The Ticket Warrior) in January to handle a citation, but I was extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication. I repeatedly asked for updates over several months with the understanding that my court date would be extended at the beginning of April.
With zero updates received, I called the courthouse at 8:00 AM on the day of my deadline (today April 7th), only to find out that nothing had been filed on my behalf. I had to handle my own extension to avoid a failure to appear/warrant. Only after I contacted Bob this morning he attempted a last-minute email to the court at 8:31 AM. He claimed he had already made an arrangement, but when I called the court back, they confirmed he had just sent the email and it was still pending.
This caused me unnecessary stress and forced me to do the work I specifically hired him for. While he did refund my money after I advised him of California Rule of Professional Conduct 1.4 (Duty to keep client informed), I would NOT recommend this firm if you are looking for peace of mind or proactive representation.
