Jacob "Jake" Holmes is representing my unresponsive general contractor that is in breach of two contracts. The business owner refuses to speak with me or make any attempts to make it right even though I was left without basic necessities that I paid for, including running water. Any attempt at communicating results in him referring me to his attorney, Jake. Unfortunately Jake the attorney is more unresponsive than his client. Jake sent me a rushed complaint and threatening demand letter that may violate my federal rights instead of even trying to settle amicably. He threatened to sue me and take my property if I don't stop contacting the business about their breach and don't stop leaving my honest online reviews. They also demand I pay in full for services I didn't receive. I never even receive a final breakdown or invoice because the work isn't done!! It's obvious to me Jake didn't bother looking at any of the documents and pictures I sent and was just trying to scare me. This was followed by zero response to my follow up emails. I'm not a lawyer but I went to Law School and know how to find a reputable attorney that respects the law. In my opinion Jacob "Jake" Holmes is not it and I will be seeing him and his client in court to prove it. I will update with the results for transparency purposes whether it goes my way or not.
