Extremely Unprofessional and Dismissive Initial Contact - Felt Disrespected
​"I recently reached out to this attorney's office for help with a bankruptcy matter. I am a disabled veteran and am currently facing a very difficult time financially, relying on this call to find assistance.
​As I was leaving a voicemail, the attorney returned my call. I briefly asked if he handles bankruptcy cases, and he confirmed that he does. However, his response was immediately followed by, 'I'm on the other phone, I got to go, bye,' and he abruptly hung up on me.
​I understand that professionals can be busy, but his lack of basic professional courtesy was shocking and deeply upsetting. At the very least, I expected an apology for the hurried call and a simple offer to call me back later, or a quick redirection to his assistant.
​​In one of my darkest moments, reaching out for help, I was met with complete disrespect and dismissal. This experience has left me feeling more discouraged and vulnerable than before the call. I cannot recommend a professional who treats prospective clients with such disregard"
