I would recommend Diego to anybody who is looking for a reliable and knowledgeable attorney. Diego would take the time to answer any and all of my questions. His response time was always quick, he was able to make this process as smooth as possible. Great guy to work with.

I hope I never need to, but I would 100% hire Diego Vargas again. He is kind, understanding, knowledgeable, strategic, and is clearly an expert in navigating traffic-law issues in complex situations, as is his reputation. I was told he was "the guy" in the state for this sort of thing, and I experienced nothing to say otherwise. I was accused of a felony which I demonstrably did not commit. The other party used the situation to paint me as a dirtbag, evade his own issues with the law, use previously sustained injuries to put me at fault, and use those injuries to sue me for all I'm worth on the civil side (handled separately). Those injuries were used by King County to prosecute me, leading to a jail sentence if convicted. Aka, I was in real trouble. After assembling my own evidence and speaking with Diego shortly after the incident, I later hired Diego when King County took the case. Re collecting my own evidence, don't sit back. It was quickly clear when interviewing attorneys that this isn't an attorney's job - or they have to hire someone to do it (think lots of extra expense). Get photos, videos, make phone calls, take detailed notes about everything, etc. Be proactive in your defense! We didn't get anywhere with the negotiating prosecutor, somewhat as expected. They don't have much incentive to review all evidence and evaluate whether they're right or have a strong case. Most other attorneys I interviewed before hiring Diego strongly preferred to settle if offered a reduced sentence at this phase (because trial involves more risk... which it does). For several reasons, that would have been a big mistake in my situation. Diego was clear that he intended to take my case to trial and win from the beginning. After the case was assigned for trial, after a brief meeting with the newly assigned trial prosecutor, Diego was able to get the entire case dismissed. I feel vindicated. The experience was all very nerve-racking, and Diego knew what to do and say to help me, my nerves, and my case at each turn. A huge thank you to Diego Vargas.
