David Strauss was not only my attorney, but someone I had known personally for nearly 20 years. Because of that history, I placed a great deal of trust in him when retaining his firm for a highly sensitive family litigation matter involving my late father’s estate.
Unfortunately, my experience left me deeply disappointed. Over the course of the representation, I developed serious concerns regarding communication, billing transparency, litigation strategy, and the handling of critical evidence and discovery. After substantial legal fees and nearly two years of litigation, the case ultimately deteriorated in a way that I believe caused significant damage to my position.
I have since filed a complaint with The Florida Bar, and the matter has escalated to a second-tier investigation that is currently active.
I strongly encourage prospective clients to carefully document all invoices, retainers, communications, and strategic decisions throughout representation.

David is not only incredibly trustworthy and professional, but also just an all-around great person. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and takes a lot of pride in what he does. Best attorney in his field!

I strongly advise against using this attorney. My experience has been extremely disappointing. He takes your money without providing the support or guidance you need. Communication is nonexistent; he does not answer calls or emails, and he fails to offer any advice on your case. I felt left in the dark, with no follow-up on important documents and no sense of direction.

If you have a legal matter to address, I recommend seeking out a reputable lawyer with positive references—someone who will genuinely advocate for you. Unfortunately, this attorney did not fulfill that role for me and simply took my money without delivering the service I expected.

Courts are not about justice. The courtroom often favors those with the means to secure skilled legal representation, allowing some who engage in dishonest actions to triumph over the honest and straightforward.

I had a poor experience personally with David Strauss. The service that I employed him for was not even needed. He went about filing items in my case that were not even sequentially permitted at that part of the case. When confronted on the lack of necessity of his filings and utility in my particular case, he refunded nothing and became rather short with me. I hired another attorney and moved forward. This is a true review. This situation is not that recent, but that illustrates how long a poor experience sticks with a consumer. No need to include name and case number for public display. No need to hear your retort now either, you had your chance to treat me correctly and you failed to do so, in my opinion.
