I would beware Rich Stowe for a real estate sale. He took advantage of an older gentleman selling his house. It was like he was the buyer’s attorney instead of that of the seller. He seems to be a sort of jack of all trades, master of none, so it’s possible it’s just incompetence. But having the buyers move into the house on the day of closing and the seller receiving a check one week later that luckily took only one day to clear, delayed the seller from getting his money for 8 days after the buyers moved in. That simply is wrong. When asked if he could do a wire transfer by the seller who hired him so the money would be available immediately, his response was, “that’s not necessary.” That is inappropriate and lazy. Plus the older gentleman expected to pay about $750, and Rich charged over $1,200. THAT was not necessary. Rich lost the business of a large family with his antics. Others should beware also.
