I cannot say enough good things about Brandon Sims and Sims Law Firm. Brandon was phenomenal from start to finish and guided us through a very stressful legal situation with professionalism, empathy, and honesty.

He did an excellent job managing expectations, explaining the process, keeping us informed on the timeline, and helping us work through the frustration and uncertainty that comes with a situation like this.

At first I was skeptical someone could have so many positive reviews, and none of them be marketing or promotional. Then I came to the law firm, and in my own experience all the positive reviews that he is not like sleazy lawyers, or has a unique skill set other lawyers don’t due to being a former prosecutor, is an accurate reflection. I rarely write reviews, but I too find myself joining the other reviews who highly recommend! Mr. Brandon Sims is very customer oriented in his practice, and actually takes the time to weigh out the full context of your situation. He does not come across as pushy like most businesses, who pressure you for reviews or referrals, or drag people onto many many unnecessary appointments or things they just want to bill for. He is professional and very knowledgeable in his field, does not give inaccurate information , and provides good reasonings. He has multiple years of experience, and even if I had never looked that up, it would still be evident in his work ethic because he doesn’t waste peoples time, and definitely knows what he is talking about! His approach doesn’t seem to be something that is generically just learned through law school that all law firms know, because he has a moralistic and holistic approach as well and treats clients like people and not transactions.

I was falsely arrested in May 2025 by a young crooked DPS officer and charge with possession of “BLUE METH”,.. never even thought they had such a charge. I had to stay in jail a few days give up my passport and post a $20,000 bail. The so-called blue meth was blue rock candy. We even have recordings where the officer admitted the substance tested pink with the test kit in their vehicle , which means it is a non-narcotic.

Mr. Sims was very patient and hearing my story, we spent three hours during our initial consultation. He asked me to think about it and call him if I’d like to hire The Sims Law Firm. I hired the Sims Law Firm the same day. Mr. Sims has been prompt, professional, and has kept me updated throughout the six months that I had to go through this ordeal. After six months, Mr. Sims made sure DPS either test the substance or drop the case. The substance came back testing as candy.

I had to pay additional money to get this case expunged. For falsely being accused, I had to post bail, hire an attorney, then pay to get the case expunged. Justice is not so just sometimes.
