1 Star — Extremely Disappointing Experience — Veterans Beware I had an extremely disappointing experience with Sergio Sanchez and his law firm. I hired an attorney expecting professionalism, communication, responsiveness, accountability, and a genuine commitment to representing my interests during an important legal matter. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of those expectations. One of my biggest frustrations was the lack of communication and responsiveness. As a paying client, I should not have had to repeatedly seek updates or wonder about the status of my case. I expected timely responses, clear guidance, and meaningful follow-through. Instead, I experienced frustration, disappointment, and what I considered to be empty assurances. The financial aspect of this experience is particularly troubling. I spent a significant amount of money on legal representation that left me deeply dissatisfied. I terminated Sergio Sanchez's services on September 23, 2026. Nearly a month later, I still have not received a final itemized invoice explaining how my money was spent or a refund of what I believe is my remaining unused retainer balance. I provided written instructions regarding these outstanding matters, and my new attorney also sent him a formal letter. Despite these efforts, I still have not received the accounting or refund I am seeking. I find it unacceptable that a former client should have to repeatedly pursue an attorney for basic financial transparency. Clients deserve a clear explanation of how their money was spent and whether any unused funds remain. I am a 27-year Army combat veteran. Throughout my military career, integrity, accountability, leadership, and professionalism were fundamental responsibilities. I know what those qualities look like, and I expect them from professionals entrusted with important matters in my life. My experience with Sergio Sanchez left me questioning the level of accountability and professionalism demonstrated in handling my legal matter. I ultimately lost confidence in his representation and terminated his services. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Sergio Sanchez or his law firm. I strongly encourage anyone considering hiring him to ask detailed questions about communication, billing transparency, case management, retainer refunds, and how the firm handles dissatisfied clients. My advice: Proceed with extreme caution before entrusting this firm with your money or legal matters. I expected far better from a legal professional. I believe prospective clients deserve to know about my experience before making such an important financial and personal decision. UPDATE — October 21, 2026 Mr. Sanchez, your response is disappointing and further reinforces my concerns about communication, professionalism, and accountability. Rather than addressing the specific issues raised in my review, you chose to advertise your firm's success rates and discounts for veterans. None of that addresses my experience as a paying client. I am a 27-year Army combat veteran who retained your services in July 2026. I terminated your representation on September 23, 2026, because of my dissatisfaction with the lack of progress, communication, and follow-through. Despite providing written instructions and having my new attorney contact your office, I still have not received a final itemized accounting or a refund of what I believe is my unused retainer balance. Your advertised success rates and veteran discounts are irrelevant to the concerns I raised. What matters is how you actually treat the clients who entrust you with their money and legal matters. I would have appreciated a meaningful response addressing my concerns rather than what appears to be a promotional statement. I stand by my original review. Accountability and professionalism should not be optional.

I hired Mr Sanchez to be my sons lawyer Mr Sanchez never gave his family any update he never ahowed up at court dates and if he did he show up at 11 and judge was mad and reschudule he never went to see his client never ask him anything not wven to his family he charge us 3500.00 for nothing and you saying he great lawyer

So unprofessional two of my family members and payed him money in advance to work on are cases and didn’t even show up to court for us never answered the phone or emails also threatened me to send me back to jail for going to his office and asking for my money back

Defitnely 5 Stars initially hired him 7 yrs ago called his office they attended the matter within a few hours had me on a court docket for the next day! Showed up to court to have my case dismissed on such short notice with a case that I had left unattended for a long period of time Thanks again to The Sanchez Law Firm!
