So my case dealt with a pending felony stating that I fled from an officer, aggressive driving, and excessive speeding. I got recommended to Aerial Chaptman by my bail bondsman since they claimed that they knew each other on a personal level. I met him once only for him to ask for the retainer fee which was 500 dollars that I can’t get back. He never responds to anything and is “always in trial involving murder cases.” My thing is if you know that you are always in trial why are you taking on my case? I’m assuming just to get my money that I can’t get back. Didn’t hear from this guy in like two weeks and I had to message him a day before my hearing just so he can call me and say that don’t show up and where is the rest of his money? He honestly fired himself when he told me that and I showed up anyways because I didn’t trust a word he was saying which worked out in my favor because originally nobody was there to represent him until the last minute. I guarantee you that if I didn’t trust my gut that I would have been a failure to appear in court because I read the reviews on this firm and some of them are saying the same things that I’m saying about mainly failure to communicate. Long story short, I went with another firm and I got my case dismissed not even within a week. Don’t trust this firm at all especially if you’re in the military like I am and you have leadership wanting to know what’s going on as they should.
