Me and my spouse had a very awkward And uncomfortable experience…..When I give a review, I really try to be honest on how I feel like a service was given and how I felt during the experience.
When me and my spouse first reached out, we were immediately received on the other end by Ms. Pearce herself.. She said that usually everyone else in the office handles the cases, but that she will be picking up on our case specifically. During several weeks of minimum engagement, we really were trying to navigate the ins and outs of our lawsuit, and trying to feel better, while also prioritizing work and what our return plan was, and trying to stay on top of making sure that paperwork was being processed on Ms. Pearce’s end, for insurance claims as well as the investigation that was going on with the other parties insurance and how much we had already been charged out of the insurance plan during the Physical therapy sessions…
I’m a mother and a busy person in general on most weeks so I completely get not being able to get in contact with someone. But a lawyer who just picked up on our case… no…we found it extremely odd that she didn’t prioritize some of the information in a way that was made clear, or the fact that we weren’t being followed up with after calling several times. As we begin healing more… we didn’t necessarily find it wise to continue to do therapy sessions without knowing some of that billing information and because there was a need for us to go back to work. We were constantly greeted by the staff at our physical therapy office, which Ms. Pearce referred us to After mentioning, she knew them personally… We would get told to make another session. We were constantly being towed why our bodies were still having some symptoms and how we should continue to do a few more sessions… they were nice people there. We still had yet to hear back from Ms. Pearce for some of that information so we begin telling the staff members that we were not going to be able to make it in and that we were still trying to retrieve some of this information….Weeks would go by & the physical therapy office would tell us that Ms. Pearce reached out to them and would like for us to come in and make our next therapy appointment….We expressed to them that it would be great to hear back from her whenever they speak to her again and that we are requesting a call back….As we got tired of the runaround when calling the office…We still have yet to hear anything back. I guess we were supposed to repeatedly call somebody who’s on vacation one moment and then the next is Completely unavailable for weeks at a time after we were being insured by her answering service that we would get a call back during a certain time period… now I’m getting letters in the mail and today I received a call confirming that these letters weren’t outdated but in fact, the hardships that the hospital was having trying to get the bill processed from the insurance company. we are being questioned on what our claim ID is, and that the insurance company has been completely unresponsive, but this is something that Miss Pierce expressed to us from the very beginning that she has sent over to them. It’s now making us feel as if she was never on top of these things like she said she was because it would take forever to hear back anything and now it’s just been no attempt to reach us directly. This was a nasty experience, and we regret not calling any of the other law offices such as the ones that have their own commercials and that are on the radio station. I feel like our case was never a priority and that this is something that in Miss Pierce’s mind should’ve went more like just going to the therapy sessions and her figuring out in between us being busy and living life on whether or not, she could decide for herself if our case was worth it, but it’s like us questioning and wanting to know more pushed her way, which is weird. Basics and honesty are values from a standup business about what the process looks like and just being proactive and on top of your game.
