I experienced an unprovoked attack from a neighborhood dog in my driveway. I happened to be walking in my driveway from my garage and the dog overpowered the person walking it and charged at me, tore through my pants and bit my lower leg. Due to the severity of the bite, I had to drive myself to the ER for treatment. His interaction with the dog owner was a huge stress relief for me not to have to confront them myself to obtain compensation for my medical expenses. The dog owner paid in full w/o animosity or attempted re-negotiation. Because of Jeff Penneys, this unfortunate experience ended up being far less stressful than if I had to try to manage it myself.
