My wife and I contacted this firm seeking guidance regarding an IRS refund issue involving delayed 2024 and 2025 tax refunds connected to a resolved 2022 balance issue. We explained that we had already paid the balance, submitted Form 911, contacted the Taxpayer Advocate Service, and made multiple attempts over the course of many months to resolve the matter directly with the IRS.
Unfortunately, the interaction was extremely disappointing. Before we could fully explain the situation, we were repeatedly interrupted and spoken over. At one point, we were told that we “seemed like scammers,” which was both unprofessional and offensive considering we were simply seeking legal guidance regarding a legitimate IRS matter.
We remained polite throughout the conversation, but we felt dismissed rather than assisted. Instead of receiving meaningful advice, we were essentially told that we were “not trying hard enough” and should just continue going to the IRS ourselves.
Everyone can have a bad day, but professionalism and basic respect toward potential clients matter. Based on our experience, we did not feel heard, respected, or taken seriously.
