				Mr. Leatherman was my son, Evan’s, court appointed attorney. He only met with my son once (no showing or postponing for several meetings) the 8 months he sat in Ellis County Jail -over 100 days more than “time served” should’ve been. My son had deep depression that was only exacerbated with the lack of communication from Mr Leatherman and the fact that Mr. Leatherman kept postponing his release. Ellis County released Evan without any medication after putting him on medication while incarcerated. My son committed suicide a week after his release- and I absolutely think Mr. Leatherman and Ellis County hold some blame. I hope you read this Mr. Leatherman- and DO BETTER
