Please don’t do what I did and hire her. The number of bad reviews should speak for itself. If I could give her zero stars I would. I called her when I needed help the most. Our first two calls before I hired her, she promised she would give her 200% and act fast, be a good lawyer for me. The moment she got my retainer, she disappeared. I’m not writing this because I expect a miracle and she didn't...She’s just genuinely a scam. She helped me file for the divorce, and after that, she went MIA. I had to call and email her nonstop just to know what was going on. She kept telling me to lie to my husband (so she could shut me up and buy herself more time) . She was basically useless. She took my retainer and refuses to give it back, even though our contract says she should. She doesn’t send bills, she doesn’t communicate, she clearly doesn’t know what she’s doing. I hired another lawyer who is so professional, sends detailed bills, and actually knows the law. She said she would send me the Notice of Substitution of Counsel and she still hasn't sent it. and it's been weeks.... Maybe you’ll get lucky with her, but don’t fall for her nice words and promises. She doesn’t care about you. She just takes your money and runs.

Thankfully I found Teresa, when I desperately needed help navigating my case. She not only assisted with expert counsel & positive outcome, but also by being a mother herself, adds that delicate perspective and deep knowledge about families. I am not sure why my review was deleted or how but I figured I’d write another one to let ppl know my experience with Teresa. I was in the middle of a custody battle and really needed an attorney to help me through the process. Teresa took my money and promised she would fight hard in court but not only did she not appear to court in person. I find out 5 minutes before court starts that she would be appearing via zoom but also made 0 efforts in fighting in court which apparently affected me and I ended up having very lil visitation. Thankfully I have gained a lot of my custody back but it was thanks to another attorneys not her!!!
