The Law Offices of Robert David Malove

I am rating this law firm based solely on my recent experience.

This review is NOT one of a holistic approach to this law firm, but rather my recent personal experience.

I hired this company last year.

I have video evidence of being (almost?) deliberately rear-ended on my motorcycle, by a pickup truck.

I was slightly injured.

A Key West cop showed up - I'll post his name when I find it.

This cop had an agenda against me because of an incident at my property regarding loud music one night.

Instead of citing the pickup driver, the Key West cop wrote me for disorderly conduct (!!!)

I have detailed videos showing that I was deliberately rear-ended.

This firm hired a subordinate attorney to represent me. Apparently, he's not a member of the A team.

Instead of showing the prosecutor the video evidence, this subordinate attorney (named Phil) -

Allowed the prosecutor to run the show.

Instead of standing up for me, providing my evidence & clearing my name -

Phil called me one morning, urging me to show up to court (when previously I was told I did not need to appear).

Phil said that it would 'look good in front of the judge' if I were to appear.

I did not understand what he meant, but soon enough things became clear.

Upon arrival at court, I was told by Phil that would be sent to jail indefinitely unless I plead guilty (!!!) to a crime I have video evidence of, that I did not commit.

I was shocked at the callousness of the firm, their approach and behavior.

NOTHING they told me made sense.

Phil, to my knowledge, did NOT PROVIDE THE VIDEO EVIDENCE TO THE PROSECUTOR!

So, all the prosecutor had to go by, was the word of the corrupt Key West cop.

I was let down by this firm.

I subsequently called to talk to Rob Malove and/or Phil, to understand what had happened and why I was thrust into the spot light in court with no warning.

Instead of talking to me like an adult, a gentleman who answered the phone in a condescending tone and attitude, said "didn't Phil already tell you he would call you back? Then he will call you back."

After that, Rob Malove sent me a sour email proclaiming "you will be in trouble soon" and some other negative insults.

It was a bizarre experience.

And it was demeaning.

I still don't understand what happened.

For full disclosure, I didn't pay 100% up front. I paid a retainer a plus monthly payment.

I had to hire another attorney to settle everything...that was another $2500 that the Malove firm could have received.

But in this case, the Malove firm chose their own direction - which did not involve providing 100% superlative service for me.

Just because someone is a lawyer, does not mean they are worthy of the title nor payment.
