This person, who calls herself a professional, has proven to me that she is a fraudster. She owes me thousands of dollars. She doesn't answer calls or emails. She moved from her location in Brooklyn without notification. It's shameful when we try to give business to our own kind and get nothing in return. God has the last word.

Working with The Law Offices of Marjory Cajoux was one of the best experiences. My husband and I had so much anxiety because we had another attorney who had no idea what he was doing. It was a nightmare. The staff at The Law Offices of Marjory Cajoux was so helpful. They talked with us and walked us through the whole process until my husband was finally able to get his green card. They are hard to reach on the phone but once you are able to get through they are very courteous, knowledgable and professional. I would definately recommend them.

This person is a total fraud. She takes people money and give them terrible advise, fill out forms with exceedingly amount of errors, basically making your application not in compliance with immigration requirements. Have you having false hope and waiting for something she know will get deny due to her lack of knowledge and errors on your application. Her trick is to keep you on an ongoing wait while she keeps collecting a retainer from you. Do your research before you pick an immigration attorney. In addition the addresses she advertised as her business location isn't where she actually is located. Be aware!

I am writing to document my profoundly negative experience with Attorney Marjory Cajoux, who represented me for immigration services from 2021 to the present. Over 3.5 years, Ms. Cajoux demonstrated a pattern of negligence, misrepresentation, and unprofessionalism that has severely jeopardized my immigration status and financial well-being.

1. Gross Negligence in Legal Advice:
Ms. Cajoux advised me to pursue an L1 visa despite clear documentation and consultation findings showing I did not qualify. The correct path should have been a National Interest Waiver (NIW). She later admitted this error by waiving additional fees, but the damage was already done -- reflecting a serious lapse in professional competence.

2. Repeated Filing Errors and Procedural Violations:
When she eventually prepared my NIW application, it contained over thirteen errors, which I had to personally correct within 24 hours. Despite my quick turnaround, she delayed processing and filed the package with major flaws, including:

Underpayment of the filing fee ($3,005 instead of $3,045).

Improperly combining payments across multiple petitions.

Omitting required passport photos.
USCIS has since confirmed that these deficiencies will result in my application being rejected -- mistakes that are inexcusable for any licensed immigration attorney.

3. Misrepresentation and Deceptive Conduct:
Ms. Cajoux consistently misrepresented the status and timing of my filings. She falsely claimed a "power outage" caused a canceled meeting on March 17, 2025, when she had actually been evicted from her office three days earlier. She continues to advertise office addresses where she is no longer a tenant, misleading clients about her location.

4. Financial Improprieties and Lack of Transparency:
Ms. Cajoux has failed to provide:

Confirmation of my retainer credit.

An itemized accounting of expenses against my retainer.

Despite repeated written requests, she has not provided the billing records or transparency required by ethical standards.

5. Breach of Duty in Communication and Recordkeeping:
Throughout her representation, I had to chase her for updates, often receiving late-night responses after 8 PM. She has failed to:

Provide a copy of my filed NIW application.

Formally notify me of her business address changes (critical for USCIS correspondence).

Forward USCIS communications or release my full client file and unopened immigration mail.

6. Improper Attempt to Terminate Representation:
Ms. Cajoux recently attempted to dismiss me without formal notice or transition assistance, as required by professional conduct rules. She continues to withhold critical documents without a clear plan for their return.

Summary:
Attorney Marjory Cajoux's handling of my case represents gross negligence, misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty, and repeated ethical violations. Her lack of accountability has placed my immigration status and financial future in jeopardy.

I strongly caution any prospective clients to proceed carefully before retaining her services. I am pursuing all available legal remedies to protect my interests and hold her accountable.
