I initially had a successful experience with The Law Offices of Marjory Cajoux on my own EB-2 case, which led me to trust them enough to refer my sister and a friend. Unfortunately, the experience since then has been extremely disappointing. Despite my sister clearly not qualifying for EB-1, the firm still filed under that category. After multiple exchanges, her application was submitted with significant errors and ultimately denied. They also used an old address even though we had provided an updated one — a serious oversight that created unnecessary complications. We reached out many times, but no corrective action or follow-up was provided. Communication within the office appears very disorganized. I often had to send documents to different staff members who seemed unaware of prior submissions and would ask me to resend everything again. It felt as though there was little coordination or management across the team. In my experience, it was also very difficult to reach the attorney directly or schedule an appointment. I also referred a friend who made an initial payment over a year ago, but nothing was ever finalized or filed. When he requested a refund, he received no response. This firm once inspired my confidence, but based on these later experiences, I can no longer recommend them. In my opinion, they lack organization, communication, and accountability. My experience led to lost time, money, and trust.

This person, who calls herself a professional, has proven to me that she is a fraudster. She owes me thousands of dollars. She doesn't answer calls or emails. She moved from her location in Brooklyn without notification. It's shameful when we try to give business to our own kind and get nothing in return. God has the last word.

I paid for services not yet rendered. Contacting her office have been a nightmare. The office is no longer at the location posted. I've spoken with the lawyer, a few weeks ago with promises of sending out updated information on new location and up date on case for which she was entrusted. I became her client March 2025.It seems as though she doesn't care. I've sent her emails with no replies. I was told by her neighboring business that she had lost her lease and I could only contact her through him, for which I did.

Please take the negative reviews seriously. They are telling the truth. This law firm took advantage of my father during a vulnerable time. He paid them a $2,300 deposit for immigration services after signing a contract that clearly stated no work would begin until the full fee was paid. He later decided not to move forward and formally requested a refund. Despite multiple written requests and phone calls, the firm never returned his money. They promised specific refund dates, including one in June, but those dates came and went with no action. Eventually, they stopped responding altogether. No legal work was performed, and they have refused to honor their own agreement. My father is now pursuing legal action. We urge anyone affected by this firm to file a Grievance Committee Complaint Form with the Supreme Court of the State of New York Appellate Division. You should also record all phone calls, save every email, and document every instance of non-response. This is not an isolated case. Their reviews on platforms like Yelp and Glassdoor tell the same story: they disappear when a refund is due. Do not trust the polished Google reviews, many appear to be paid or fake. Treat them as you would a dishonest business. Approach with caution. Do not give them a deposit unless you’re prepared to fight for it back.

Working with The Law Offices of Marjory Cajoux was one of the best experiences. My husband and I had so much anxiety because we had another attorney who had no idea what he was doing. It was a nightmare. The staff at The Law Offices of Marjory Cajoux was so helpful. They talked with us and walked us through the whole process until my husband was finally able to get his green card. They are hard to reach on the phone but once you are able to get through they are very courteous, knowledgable and professional. I would definately recommend them.
