I live in Virginia. After being in an automobile accident in Nashville I sought legal counsel in my home state. I wasn’t aware that a Virginia lawyer might not be able to practice law in Tennessee. After speaking with a lawyer friend of a friend he informed me that he couldn’t practice in Tennessee but could refer me to John Day who he had worked with on a previous case. I spoke with John and felt good about our conversation and the fact that I was referred to him by a fellow lawyer who had no expectation concerning financial gain.
