I have retained Everett for just under 4 years due to my custody case. I started out as a father with just about no rights and minimal custody of my child. Now, 4 years later, he was able to win me custody of my child due to unfortunate events that have been occurring these last few years. He fought every battle for me and ensured that every time I entered mediation, I left with more. Whether it be more time with my son or a better communication schedule. Over the years, he built me a solid case so that once we were ready to get in front of a judge, we were very well prepared. Even when we knew we had a good case, he still remained humble and realistic. He told me we had a chance but did not tell me what I wanted to hear but what I NEEDED to hear and I think that was very important. Never head into a court case thinking you’ve won because you may be let down. He taught me to fight the battle as best as possible and the outcome will come however the judge decides. He is a smart man who is able to adjust to the situation and meticulously analyses the opposing parties argument in order to adapt and redirect the direction of our own case.
