I debated a while on putting up a review. This is my honest opinion and solely my experience.

Pros:
In this economy, Geanine has very fair prices.
She spoke very well and was able to de-escalate situations
She listened and provided her advice on what is needed to be done

Cons:
When it came down to court, I tried to be understanding because either way I paid for the services requested. She was sick, nothing we can do, so first session she was virtual.
She was in my opinion, disorganized.
When we returned for a second session, it was a disappointment even tho she said she won't charge me. Like if she did.. I would have been more upset because she messed up by not drafting and providing the requested paperwork the the referee requested for the next session. During the first session, I clearly remember her writing things down via virtual and second session she couldn't even remember the referee that was from our first session and it was the same person. She didn't leave a good impression and on top of that she was late to our 2nd session. When we returned for the 3rd session, the child attorney asked me some questions. I thought Geanine and her would be in commucation since I provided the email and phone number prior. Geanine was again late. At this point, not only was I disappointed but embarrassed. Even the referee came out to asked me if my attorney was here yet as both me and the Child attorney was waiting.

There was no prep to any of these sessions on what to say or expect. My request was simple, just custody. I wanted to settle quick and not go to court. I was not asking for a lot but it's also not my first time handling this kind of issue.

I felt like I did most of the communication and leg work as far as getting her information for the child attorney and expected Geanine to do her best. Geanine was just there to provide minimal support to represent me.

Was the case settled? Yes, but it didn't need to drag. It dragged because she wasn't prepped.
Would I rehire? No, because she was so disorganized, I was embarrassed.
