I’m first and foremost grateful to God for helping me get through an extremely difficult situation with a tenant who stopped paying rent.
Finding the right lawyer in NYC was not easy—I did extensive research and spoke with several attorneys, and honestly, there aren’t a lot of great options out there, especially when it comes to defending landlords. These cases are tough, and you really need someone who knows what they’re doing.
After speaking with several lawyers, Seth Rosenfeld was the clear choice. From the very first conversation, he stood out. He immediately calmed me down during a very stressful time and gave me confidence that I was in the right hands.
This was not an easy case by any means, but Seth handled it with professionalism, persistence, and real expertise. He guided me every step of the way and made a difficult process much more manageable.

A great firm, they listen to you very well, answering all your questions, then explain to you the plan before you sign the agreement, Mr. Rosenfeld is not one of those who will try to drag you down the road to get the most money possible, he really knows what he is doing, very professional.

This was, without exaggeration, one of the most frustrating and exhausting professional experiences I’ve ever had.

I hired this attorney for an eviction case and was met with complete incompetence and indifference from start to finish. I was given absolutely no direction, no strategy, and no real legal advice at any point. I was essentially left to navigate a complex legal situation on my own while paying for someone who was supposed to represent me.

Communication was nonexistent. I called, emailed, and texted repeatedly—sometimes going months without a single response. The level of neglect is honestly shocking. Meanwhile, my case dragged on for nearly two years with little to no progress, causing unnecessary stress, time loss, and financial strain.

On top of that, the attitude I encountered was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of feeling supported, I often felt like I was being treated as an inconvenience. Even worse, there were moments where it seemed like more consideration and advice were being given to the opposing party than to me—the actual client.

I was also told that they would take on a separate case to sue the evictee at no cost, which gave me some hope of resolution. That hope was completely misplaced. They failed to even show up to court.

At every turn, I felt let down, ignored, and completely unsupported. This experience was beyond disappointing—it was genuinely infuriating. The only reason I am not pursuing further action is because I do not have the energy to continue dealing with this situation.

I would not recommend this attorney under any circumstances. Avoid at all costs.
