Recently, I had a very difficult case, and brought in the law firm of Richard M Kenny to take over the matter and bring it to a conclusion. They wound up settling the matter for $6 million dollars which is more than double of what the Defense team would’ve paid me. Response to the lazy person: Thank you for confirming exactly what I said in my review: your firm refused to do the basic due diligence required for a medical case. You 'expressed concern' about an expired statute of limitations because you saw the initial August 2023 treatment date and immediately gave up. You completely failed to ask or listen to the fact that I had a corrective follow-up visit with the same provider on August 19, 2024, which is when the patient abandonment occurred. Under New York’s Continuous Treatment Doctrine (CPLR § 214-a), the 2.5-year clock did not start until that final date of treatment, making the active deadline February 19, 2027. The case is fully active, and the NYS Office of Professional Discipline currently has an open, active investigation into this dentist. Claiming a case is 'expired' because you didn't bother to establish the full treatment timeline is the definition of lazy. Thank you for proving my point publicly!! Original Review Do not waste your time calling this firm if you have a real, complex situation that requires actual legal work. They are incredibly lazy! Because my malpractice case wasn't handed to them on a silver platter with an immediate, effortless payout, they immediately tried to push me away with a dismissive attitude. They completely ignored critical legal exceptions like the Continuous Treatment Doctrine and fraudulent concealment just to get off the phone. They claim to be highly rated, but they clearly only care about 'easy' cases and quick money. If you are a real victim looking for a lawyer who will actually stand up and fight for you instead of taking the lazy way out, look elsewhere. Absolute waste of time.
