Justin helped me get through some legal troubles that I had encountered and was a rock star and helping me through it. He was honest and open from the start, gave me all my options upfront and then eventually we worked to find some evidence that proved our position that got the case dismissed. I would hire Justin again without hesitation. He's not only a great lawyer but he's a genuinely a great person too and that's evident by just talking to him. If you get the chance to work with Justin, take it. He will work his heart out to get you the best outcome. Also, his assistant Katie is a ROCKSTAR! They are the best Duo in the state of Oregon!

Please don’t hire this attorney(Justin). I hired him for a fourth degree assault in connection to domestic violence.. He without telling me set the plea guilty in the court and then disappeared(not reachable on calls or emails). He met me 5 minutes before the plea guilty hearing. He came out of court and told me that I got a great deal(which wasn’t) although he told me in our last conversation that he will talk to DA to dismiss the case. However, he did the opposite of what he told me.

The deal he showed me 5 minutes before the hearing was the worst deal. When I told him that I already did DAP course and why they are offering deferred sentencing for 15 months. He said you sign it, it will automatically reduced to 7 months and it’s Oregon law. The new attorney (when I fired Justin) told me that there is no such regulation and you sign it means you sign 15 months and redoing of the DAP course. I ditched his deal under the cover of talking to my divorce attorney and need at least a week. Then the court postponed my plea hearing to the next week.

Long story short, I have learned from some other clients of him that this is a normal pattern he follows and when you confront him, he started getting mean and yelling at you. He did the same to me when I called for some clarifications and told him that I’m fighting the case. Finally, I fired him.

I hired a new attorney after talking to many attorneys(almost all suggested me to plea guilty). She charges $100 for consultancy which was unusual. I took my chance spoke to her, and I hired her. She worked with me to go for trial and fight the case. We were in the trial. Before jewry selection, She made a beautiful and effective argument that the judge dismissed my case although chances of winning that way were very thin. Even though the judge dismissed the case, we had a very sound case for trial because the attorney I hired was actually a defense attorney and she had knowledge of the point where the case will be fought and we found a forgery in the evidence since she worked hard and yes arguing to dismiss the case was our plan A and proving the case is wrong in front of Jewry was Plan B.

Justin claimed He sent the discovery to me. When I confronted and proved that I didn't receive. He without any accountability said that I might have sent to someone else. He mentioned that I was angry on no contact order. Well, Thanks for reminding, he was very poor in his communication throughout the case. Upsetting on no contact order miscommunication with me was one of the minor issues, however, I fired him because of him throwing me under the bus without sharing that with me or asking my permission for setting a plea guilty hearing without my knowledge and showed me deal 5 minutes before the hearing. He was very sweet, kind and responsive before hiring him. As soon as I hired him, he was very impatient with the questions and not very nice afterwards.

Do not recommend for adult DHS cases i hired Justin to represent my mom to close the DHS case without happening to pay DHS $10,000 dollars due to lack of evidence and return the property to DHS since they are representing the plaintive since the power attorney expired which is understandable. With all being said he did absolutely nothing he didn't fight he didn't negotiate he didn't look at evidence to have dismissed other then pay up or go to prison he spent more time fight us and being rude and definitely was a no call and no show in the previous to court last year intel the judge got on his ass. He would have been paid if he just had the $10,000 which was a lack of evidence dismissed.
