One of the most arrogant, dismissive people I've ever met. George ghosted me for months at a time when I had time-sensitive decisions to make, and yelled at me for trying to contact him.

This is a follow-up to my earlier review of Attorney George Tsakataras.
Weeks later, I have still received no refund for the $525 consultation fee, despite the fact that the attorney immediately declined my case after the first meeting.

I traveled from Florida to Delaware, presented evidence of abuse, and was told my situation was “too deep.” The firm took payment, gave no written guidance or referrals, and closed the matter. I reached out again asking about a refund or credit toward another attorney, but there has been no response.

Families in crisis deserve transparency and compassion. Charging for a consultation only to refuse service without any follow-up or refund is unacceptable.

I met Attorney George Tsakataras after traveling from Florida to Delaware as an emergency to fight for my children. I brought full evidence of ongoing abuse, expecting legal representation and guidance. I paid $525 for an initial consultation, only to be told, “I can’t help you.”

Mr. Tsakataras saw me the day before my scheduled appointment but, after reviewing my case, he appeared stressed, touching his head, and said my situation was “too deep.” He then backed out completely. I was left with no plan, no referrals, and only verbal advice — exactly what I came to Delaware to avoid.

Although I appreciate that he met early, this firm showed no empathy or transparency for a single father facing a serious family crisis. I traveled with limited funds, trying to protect my children from abuse, and even showed clear video evidence — yet no help or direction was offered.

I could have saved hundreds of dollars and valuable time had I known they wouldn’t take my case. Families in crisis need compassionate advocates, not another closed door. I will not be returning or recommending this firm.

The lawyer recommended that I handle the case myself in court — something I specifically came to avoid, since I sought legal representation and support from a professional. I left empty-handed, with nothing but verbal advice, a handshake, and false hope.

I appreciate that he was busy and even saw me a day early, but I wish this firm had shown more empathy and transparency toward clients who are going through serious family issues. I am a single father, traveling with limited funds, trying to protect my children from an abusive situation. This firm saw clear video evidence and still chose not to take any action or offer referrals to someone who could.

I’m deeply disappointed. I could have saved hundreds of dollars and valuable time had I known they wouldn’t take my case. I won’t be returning or recommending this firm. Families in crisis need genuine advocates — not another closed door.
