I wish I could give this man zero stars. He convinced me to plead guilty on the charge he was representing me on when I was innocent. I had the exact same case in another county and was found innocent the week before (I was represented by another lawyer). I was innocent, knew I was innocent, and was found innocent for the exact same charge he was representing me on but in another county with another lawyer. The only reason I took the plea he offered is because I know how the judge is out here and Mr. Brashear had no intentions of fighting for me and probably would’ve gotten me more time. He doesn’t answer the phone, has a block on all jail phone calls (that’s where most of his clients are until their hearing) and then when you do talk to him before your hearing if you’re lucky he is very rude and tries to rush you off the phone. The couple times I’ve had him as a court appointed lawyer the only real meaningful conversation I had with him was literally like 10 minutes before court. He has no regards or sentiment for most of his clients. He should not be allowed to represent anybody in court and I hope his lawyer’s license gets taken away. DO NOT USE THIS GUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE OR HAVE NO OTHER OPTION.

Has no concerns for childs wellbeing, is always too busy, and lies in court. Should not be in the position to make decisions for children when he clearly doesn't even study cases or do his job before coming to court and testifying.
