For two years, this Guardian ad Litem has been assigned to my foster son’s case. During that time, she has spoken with him once — and that only occurred months into the case after we initiated contact.
Repeated calls and messages have gone unanswered.
Most recently, during an active situation in which we were unsure whether our child was safe, I contacted her seeking assistance. When she finally returned my call, the focus was not on the child’s safety or wellbeing. Instead, the call centered on reprimanding me and telling me how not to “tell her how to do her job.” The tone was raised and confrontational while I was actively attempting to reach the child.
When my foster son later attempted to contact her directly to confirm he was safe, his call was not answered and was not returned.
A Guardian ad Litem’s responsibility is to advocate for the best interests of the child. That requires consistent communication, availability during crisis, and a child-centered approach. In our experience, those standards have not been met.
I have filed a formal complaint with the appropriate oversight authority and will be addressing these concerns through proper legal channels. This is not about personal disagreement. It is about accountability in a role designed to protect vulnerable children.
Children in foster care deserve engaged representation — especially in moments when their safety may be at risk.

I do not recommend this law firm. There is a HUGE lack of response from this law firm & that is very unprofessional. Other reviews also report the same thing.
